| Another important lesson that's needed! The demonstratives. (this that, these, those). In this lesson we'll learn how to use 'em. Basically there are different ways to say this, that, these, those, depending on the gender and number. Well, just hop into the lesson already! :) |
| First we'll learn about how to use this, and these. These are called demonstrative pronouns of proximity (closeness). OK, let's get down to it. |

| You've only learned the "adjective" forms of the demonstratives. Basically Only "this student" (acest student), but to say "this is a student, you say it differently.. not much differently, just a modification of the word :). "acesta e un student". You will learn the pronoun usage now. Alright let's get down to it. |

| Also in Romanian, you can say "this student" by using "acesta", how? Well below are some examples.
Studentul acesta Basically you just add the definite article ending of the word and put the pronoun afterwards. You can use this for more emphasis. Still not done with the lesson though! ONE MOOORE THING! [/uncle] |
| Colloquial basically means expressions that are often used in everyday speech. (Coal-OH-kwee-el). You can't use them as adjectives, only as pronouns. These are important, why? Because this site is aimed to make you speak Romanian and not just a class to earn credit just to get out of high school. *ahem* Anyways, here you go. |
